The Alma G. Davis Foundation supports shelters and works with individual victims of domestic violence in order to help them move toward economic and self-sufficiency by providing:

– social services (such as advocacy, counseling, legal assistance, safety planning, etc.)

– training in pre-employment and work maturity skills (such as resume writing, interviewing, hygiene and grooming)

– education and training in S.T.E.M. related disciplines

– job placement

– financial literacy
